News & Events Beason & Nalley, Inc. Announces Brett Holt Earns Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) Designation
To become accredited by NACVA, Brett was required to successfully complete an intensive training and testing process. An initial requirement to becoming a Certified Valuation Analyst is that the applicant be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered in his state. The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts is a global, professional association that supports the business valuation, litigation support and fraud deterrence consulting disciplines within the CPA and professional communities. Mr. Holt has practiced in public accounting since and is currently is a member of the Business Valuation and Litigation Department as well as the Assurance and Advisory department. His experience includes performing business valuation studies for government contracts as well as attestation work for government contractors, local governments, not for profit organizations and employee benefit plans. Brett also has experience in documenting and testing internal controls as part of a SOX compliance plan. Memberships include Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, University of Alabama in Huntsville Alumni Association – Vice President of Finance, Crisis Services of North Alabama, Board Member, and Tennessee Valley Alumni Association - Treasurer.
